BDW partnered with Destination CQ, based in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, to shape a brief which aims to celebrate the best of local attractions and businesses in the Cathedral Quarter area.
The brief asked us to develop an image-based poster that focused on a specific attraction or business within the Cathedral Quarter. I chose to focus on The Sunflower (@sunflowerpub) which, in my opinion, is one of the quintessential spots in the Cathedral Quarter. I based this poster around the Sunflower’s well known sign ‘No Topless bathing, Ulster has suffered enough’ to show off a bit of that classic Belfast humour and also link back to the street art scene in the area.
